New AGDF resource portal for vital resources in sustainable development
AGDF are undergoing a website revamp which will include a highly extensive list of tools and resources designed to inform professionals and students in the sustainable development industry.
Phase one of the resource portal is scheduled to launch on 31 July 2008 with a focus on best practice examples, products, services and suppliers within sustainable urban development. Growth in the latter half of 2008 will also accommodate the interests of users within the community and households to accelerate the adoption of domestic as well as commercial sustainable development practices.
The resource portal will work with existing industry databases and resource tools that already include similar information – the goal is to provide an easy-to-use resource portal covering the many facets and specialties within sustainable development. The objective is NOT to reinvent the wheel.
Ongoing updates and maintenance will be incorporated to ensure that resources are up-to-date and relevant in this fast-moving industry.
